The bill sponsored by Senators Bob Corker (R-TN) and Ben Cardin (D-MD) will essentially lower the number of senators needed to approve a bad international agreement from 67 votes down to just 34 votes. Thankfully, three SCF-endorsed senators are fighting back and demanding votes on amendments that could derail the bill.

Despite controlling the Senate, Republican leaders are passing bills that have more support from Democrats than Republicans. Breitbart News reports: "With two minor exceptions, every single vote that has passed the U.S. Senate since the beginning of this Congress in January has passed with at least usually more than 93 percent of support from Democrats."

The Senate's confirmation of Loretta Lynch is yet another betrayal of this new Republican majority led by Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY). Not only did Senator McConnell bring the Lynch nomination to the floor and vote to confirm her after she refused to state ANY limits on the President's executive authority, but he also pressured other Republican senators to vote for cloture to cut off debate on her nomination.

The U.S. Senate will vote this week on the confirmation of Loretta Lynch, President Obama's nominee for Attorney General. Republicans should reject the Lynch nomination. The only difference between Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder is that Lynch has told everyone that she will ignore the law BEFORE her confirmation vote.
