Mitch McConnell Surrenders on Obamacare Repeal

Yesterday, Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he won't move to repeal Obamacare if Republicans win a majority this year. Rather than reaffirming his pledge to repeal Obamacare "root and branch" as he has vowed to do countless times on the campaign trail, Senator McConnell made excuses for why he won't deliver on his central campaign promise.

CRUZ: Time for the People to Choose

Fifty years ago today America faced a choice very much similar to the choice we face today. On October 27, 1964, a clarion call was heard across the nation. America faced a choice, a speaker told us: We could either “abandon the American Revolution and confess that a little intellectual elite in a far-distant capital can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves,” or we could reaffirm our belief “in our capacity for self-government.” That man was Ronald Reagan and then, as now, it was a time to choose.

Cassidy: "They'll hold their nose."

Congressman Bill Cassidy (R-LA) – the liberal Republican running for U.S. Senate in Louisiana – just let the cat out of the bag. In an interview with Politico, he explained why he doesn't believe he needs to earn the support of conservatives in the Bayou State. "They're going to vote, they'll hold their nose, they will do whatever,"he said of his state's divided Republicans. "They will vote. We will win."

House Conservatives Project

We recently started a new effort at the request of our members to support principled conservatives running for the U.S. House of Representatives. The goal of this new House Conservatives Project is to strengthen the House and build a conservative farm team for higher offices.

Grimes and Cassidy Refuse to Disclose Which Presidents They Voted For

Senate Conservatives Fund President Ken Cuccinelli, made the following statement in light of Congressman Bill Cassidy's (R-LA) unwillingness to be open with Louisiana voters and after Democrat candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes (D-KY) refused to disclose which Presidents she has voted for:
