New Ad Highlights Mitch McConnell's Record on Bailouts, the Debt Limit, and Obamacare Funding
ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) released a new, 60-second radio ad on Tuesday in response to attacks made by U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) against his conservative primary challenger, Matt Bevin (R-KY). McConnell is attacking Bevin on the radio in Kentucky because McConnell cannot defend his record and is slipping in the polls. The SCF ad ("Whistle") will run on stations across the state for one week beginning Tuesday, February 25. The cost of the media buy is $28,630.
"Mitch McConnell is trying to hide his liberal record, but we're not going to let him get away with it," said SCF Executive Director Matt Hoskins. "Every time he attacks Matt Bevin, we're going to respond until every voter in Kentucky knows the truth about Mitch McConnell.""Whistle" | Listen<<Whistle Blows>>Someone needs to blow the whistle on Mitch McConnell. After 30 years in Washington, McConnell is shamelessly attacking conservative Matt Bevin.Truth is, it was Mitch McConnell who voted for the bank bailout.Thats right.Mitch McConnell voted to spend seven hundred billion dollars bailing out the banks on Wall Street.McConnell even said it was "one of the finest moments in the history of the Senate."<<Whistle Blows>>Theres a lot more in McConnells record to be concerned about.McConnell voted to raise the debt limit 10 times,<<Whistle Blows>>Worked with Joe Biden to pass a six hundred billion dollar fiscal cliff tax hike,<<Whistle Blows>>And sided with Harry Reid to oppose Ted Cruzs effort to defund ObamaCare.<<Whistle Blows>>Mitch McConnell has betrayed Kentuckys conservative values.Thats why its time to blow the whistle on Mitch McConnell, and replace him with conservative Matt Bevin.<<Whistle Blows>>Paid for by Senate Conservatives Fund and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
