Cruz, Paul, Rubio Rise to National Stage

Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rand Paul (R-KY), and Marco Rubio (R-FL) have now formally announced their campaigns to seek the Republican nomination for President of the United States in 2016. It's important to remember that these three leaders were all backed by the Senate Conservatives Fund in their Senate races and all three overcame long odds because of the generous support of Americans like you.

12 Republicans Oppose Paying for Doc Fix

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) gave conservatives a voice by offering an amendment to force Congress to pay for the 'doc fix' legislation, but the amendment was defeated when these 12 Republicans join all 46 Democrats in voting against it.

RELEASE: Three SCF-Endorsed Senators Run for President

"When Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio ran for the Senate, the Republican establishment in Washington said they were too conservative and couldn't win. But thanks to the grassroots, they won their Senate campaigns and are now leading the way for Republicans in the race for the White House."

RELEASE: SCF Statement on Florida Senate Race

"With Senator Rubio leaving the Senate next year, it's extremely important for conservatives in Florida to elect a principled leader to replace him. We're looking at all of the candidates, but if Congressman Ron DeSantis decides to run, we will seriously consider supporting his campaign. Ron has a strong conservative record in the House, he listens to the grassroots in Florida, and has the ability to win this important race."

Replace John McCain

Senator John McCain (R-AZ) officially announced today that he will seek a sixth term in the U.S. Senate. Thirty years of cutting deals with the Democrats is not enough for Senator McCain; he wants six more. There are few Republicans who have betrayed our conservative principles more than John McCain.

Harry Reid Hangs It Up

Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) is calling it quits. After spending nearly 30 years in the Senate, he has decided to retire at the end of this term. We believe Reid's retirement makes the 2016 Senate race in Nevada even more important for conservatives.
