A Victory Over The Establishment

Yesterday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill that repeals Obamacare and sent it to the president’s desk. The president will veto it, but it represents a major victory for conservatives who have tirelessly fought to stop a law that is unaffordable, unworkable, and unfair. It’s also a significant victory over the Republican establishment, which has worked against the repeal movement every step of the way.

Omnibus Failure

The Senate’s passage of the 2,000-page, $1.1 trillion omnibus bill before Christmas was yet another failure of Republican leadership. The bill fully funded Planned Parenthood, the president’s unlawful executive amnesty program, the relocation program for Syrian refugees, and Obamacare, which is hurting millions of American families.

Another Omnibus Surrender

It’s that time of year again – when the Republican leadership in Congress betrays everything they claim to stand for and helps the Democrats pass another 2,000-page, trillion-dollar omnibus spending bill.

New Refugee Security Bill

Congressman Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has sponsored new legislation in the House of Representatives called the Terrorist Refugee Infiltration Prevention Act of 2015. The bill prohibits admitting refugees from countries that have significant territory controlled by an organization designated by the State Department to be a Foreign Terrorist Organization. It specifically names Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria, and Yemen as countries containing terrorist-controlled territory while also giving the State Department authority to identify and designate additional countries.

Obama's Reckless Refugee Policy

In light of the evil attacks in Paris last week where one of the terrorists entered Europe as a Syrian refugee, it’s become abundantly clear that we must stop admitting Syrian refugees who are a risk for Islamic terrorism.

31 Republicans Vote to Advance Liberal CR

Yesterday, 31 Senate Republicans joined every Democrat in voting to advance the “continuing resolution” (CR), which fully funds Planned Parenthood, the president’s Iran deal, Obamacare, and executive amnesty.

Now It's Time for Mitch McConnell To Go

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) is stepping down. Now it’s time for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to do the same. We are launching a new campaign today to organize grassroots opposition to Senator McConnell across the country.

New Gallup Poll Spells Trouble for GOP Leaders

Conservatives across the country who are frustrated with the failed leadership of the Republican Party are not alone. A new Gallup poll released yesterday shows that only 22% of Americans view Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) favorably. Likewise, only 23% of Americans view House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) favorably.

"Show Vote" on Planned Parenthood

Today, the U.S. Senate will vote to bring up S. 1881, the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, for debate. Unfortunately, this bill won’t be signed into law even if it manages to get the 60 votes required to overcome a filibuster. The vote today is a drive-by, show vote.

New Senate Majority Same As Old Senate Majority

Americans elected a Republican majority in the Senate last year because they believed it would be different than the Democratic majority. Unfortunately, they were lied to and the new Senate is the same as the old Senate.
