Trump Stumps for Rosendale

Saturday, July 7, 2018

President Donald Trump, along with son Donald Jr., flew into Great Falls, Montana on Thursday to campaign for Matt Rosendale (R-MT) who is challenging Senator Jon Tester (D-MT).

Trump said it was time to retire Tester who sides with the liberals in his party over the voters in Montana. “A vote for Jon Tester is a vote for Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and the new leader of the Democratic Party, Maxine Waters,” he said.

Donald Trump Jr. reminded the crowd that Tester only started buying hunting tags when Republicans noticed that he hadn’t for years.

“You know he went 15 years without a hunting license… That’s why we call him two-faced Tester,” said Donald Jr. “You can’t show up in blaze orange after 15 years without a hunting license and pretend that you’re a hunter. You can maybe make that work in New York City, but that’s it – not this side of the Mississippi.”

A poll taken last month showed the lesser known Rosendale trailing Tester by 9 points. The president’s visit to Montana this week should help Rosendale begin to close the gap, but we still have a lot of work to do to win this battleground election.

We’re working to help Rosendale get his message out and to inform voters about Jon Tester’s record. Like many Democrats, Tester portrays himself as a moderate in Montana, but sides with the liberals when he’s in Washington, DC.

Please join us and President Trump in supporting Matt Rosendale for U.S. Senate by making a contribution to his campaign.

Your donation of $25, $50, $100 or more will help replace a liberal Democrat with a principled conservative in the U.S. Senate.

If you can’t donate, please contact those you know who either live in Montana or who have connections in the state, and urge them to support Matt Rosendale for U.S. Senate.

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and the RINOs in the Senate have put the majority at risk with their failure to keep the party’s promises. We need to work together to elect conservatives who will help save the Senate and stand up to the liberals in both parties.

Thank you for your support.
