2014: Seven More SCF Victories!
Wednesday, November 5, 2014Last night was a big night for our endorsed candidates.
In the U.S. Senate races, Ben Sasse defeated Dave Domina in Nebraska, Joni Ernst defeated Bruce Braley in Iowa, and Tom Cotton defeated incumbent Senator Mark Pryor in Arkansas.
In the U.S. House races, Dave Brat won in Virginia, Barry Loudermilk won in Georgia, Alex Mooney won in West Virginia, and John Ratcliffe won in Texas.
Rob Maness and Zach Dasher did not win their primaries in Louisiana, but we’re grateful that they fought for our principles and gave voters a real choice. The final outcome of those two races will be decided in December.

Thanks to your generous support, seven new conservatives are on their way to Washington to fight for the principles of freedom that make America great.
You helped us invest over $4 million directly into these winning campaigns. You took a stand to change Washington and it made a big difference.
This is the most victories we’ve had in a single election cycle since SCF was started in 2008, and you made it happen.
MAKE THE MAJORITY MATTER
Now the hard work begins.
Republicans have majorities in the House and the Senate and they must follow through on their campaign promises to stop the president’s liberal agenda.
The future of our country depends on it.
Unfortunately, the Republican establishment in Washington does not like to stand up to the Democrats and will be looking for ways to continue business as usual.
We can’t let that happen.
Republicans campaigned against President Obama’s liberal agenda and they have a moral obligation now to keep their promises.
They promised to use spending bills to defund the president’s job-killing regulations, to use the budget resolution to pass the full repeal of Obamacare in the Senate with 51 votes, and to stop the president’s lawless amnesty, just to name a few.
In the weeks ahead, we will update you on the important policy issues before Congress and tell you what you can do to keep up the pressure and make sure the 2014 Republican takeover doesn’t become a hollow victory.
