Drop the Ball on the Establishment

Thursday, January 7, 2016

It’s bad enough that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) spent the past year working with the Democrats to pass President Obama’s agenda.

But now he’s admitting that this is what he planned all along despite his campaign promises to do the opposite!

Here’s the report from POLITICO:

McConnell said his goal all along has been to bring up bills that rank-and-file Democrats want but that he says Reid resisted, like the highway legislation, education reform and the budget.

“That’s exactly what I was looking for. These same kinds of measures could have passed when they were in the majority. So I’m glad they cooperated,” McConnell said.

In 2015, McConnell joined hands with a majority of Democrats to thwart his own caucus’ efforts to stop the Obama agenda 24 times. During each of these votes, the Republican majority passed legislation with a majority of Democrats in support and a majority of Republicans opposed.

McConnell is doing exactly what Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) would have done if he were still the Majority Leader, and he’s proud of it.

Let’s show Senator McConnell and his crony capitalist friends at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that we’re not going to take it anymore.

Help us build a conservative Senate that will fight for the principles of freedom that make this country great.

Please support these three conservative U.S. Senate candidates.

  • Mike Lee (R-Utah)
  • Ron DeSantis (R-Florida)
  • Marlin Stutzman (R-Indiana)

These candidates support all of our conservative policy goals. If they’re elected, they will stand up to the liberals in both parties and fight for our freedoms. They will work to defund Planned Parenthood, block the president’s unlawful executive amnesty, and fully repeal Obamacare.

We have set a goal of investing $1 million in our endorsed candidates before the end of the year. Will you help us do it?

Giving directly to conservative candidates is the most effective thing you can do to change the Senate and change Washington.

Also, please make a contribution to the Senate Conservatives Fund, which will help us promote these candidates and the ones we will endorse next year.

You don’t have to be a large corporation or a mega-donor to impact these races. If tens of thousands of freedom-loving Americans chip in a few dollars, we can level the financial playing field with the special interests in Washington.

Please help us drop the New Year’s Eve ball on the establishment by making a donation to these candidates before the end of the year.

There’s no better way to make the 2016 elections matter!

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II
