Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) reminded everyone that he’s a conservative force this week when he blasted Democrats for opposing the nomination of Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) for Attorney General.

Senator Cruz brilliantly highlighted the hypocrisy of Democrats claiming that Senator Sessions won’t uphold the law when they supported Obama’s lawless Justice Department.

“When the Obama Justice Department sent millions of dollars of taxpayer money to sanctuary cities defying federal immigration law, the Democrats on this committee were silent,” said Cruz. “When the Obama Administration refused to enforce federal immigration law…the Democrats on this committee were silent. When the Obama Administration released tens of thousands of illegal aliens including rapists and murderers into the general population, Democrats on this committee were silent.”

Senator Cruz was at the top of his game this week and we believe this is the perfect time to endorse him for re-election in Texas.
