Marsha Blackburn Wins, John James Surges
Saturday, August 4, 2018U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) won the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate yesterday. She will now face former Governor Phil Bredesen (D-TN) in the general election in November.
This is an important victory for conservatives because replacing Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) with Marsha Blackburn will be a significant upgrade in terms of having someone who will work with President Trump to advance a conservative agenda.
But winning this race will not be easy. Bredesen currently leads Blackburn in the average of public polls by 4.5 points.
We’re inside 100 days now until the November elections so there is no time to waste. The seat in Tennessee is up for grabs and we must win it to stop the Democrats from taking over.
We also have good news to report from Michigan.
According to a new poll, combat veteran and businessman John James (R-MI) now leads liberal Sandy Pensler (R-MI) in the primary election for U.S. Senate.
James recently won the endorsement of President Trump who said:
When John started this race, nobody knew him and few thought he had a chance to win. But because of your help, he’s now one of the most promising candidates in the nation.
Thank you for being part of our team and for doing so much to fight for bold conservative leadership in Washington.
