Two More Primary Victories
Combat veteran and businessman John James (R-MI) won the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Michigan yesterday despite having never run for office before and being massively outspent.
James won this race because he ran as an unapologetic conservative who is determined to shake up Washington.
We supported him early in this race when most observers thought he couldn’t win. Now, thanks to your generous support, he has a chance to defeat liberal Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) in November.
John James is a husband, a father, a combat veteran, and a businessman. He graduated from West Point and served in Iraq as a Ranger-qualified aviation officer, logging over 750 flight hours and leading two Apache platoons.
After eight years in service to our country, he returned to Michigan to work in the family business. Under his leadership, the company has rapidly expanded and created over 100 new jobs.
John James is a rock-solid conservative who is passionate about our country and the principles of freedom that make it great. He’s a pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-free markets conservative who has demonstrated energetic and effective leadership.
State Attorney General Josh Hawley (R-MO) also won his primary election yesterday. Hawley will now face liberal Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) in November.
Hawley currently trails McCaskill by just 1 percentage point in the average of public polls, but has been steadily gaining ground on her over the past few months. Now is the time for conservatives to dig deep and work to help push him on to victory.
As you know, Hawley is a conservative constitutional attorney and the first Republican Attorney General in Missouri since 1993. He’s argued numerous cases before state courts, federal district courts, federal courts of appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Hawley served as one of the lead attorneys in Burwell v. Hobby Lobby, a major Supreme Court decision that exempted employers with religious objections from Obamacare’s pro-abortion regulations.
As Attorney General, he has fought for ethics reform and taken on the EPA and its job-killing regulations. He’s a courageous conservative who will strengthen the U.S. Senate.
Both John James and Josh Hawley have been endorsed by President Trump, both are strong conservative reformers, and both can win if grassroots conservatives unite behind them.
Thank you for being part of our team. We’re grateful for your support.
