SCF Congratulates Ted Cruz

Alexandria, VA – Senate Conservatives Fund (SCF) President Ken Cuccinelli made the following statement after Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) won re-election for U.S. Senate in Texas:

“Senator Ted Cruz is among the most principled leaders we have seen in Washington in many years. Time and time again he has opposed the establishment and fought for our conservative principles. We are very proud of his hard-fought victory tonight.

“We have no doubt that Ted will continue to join with allies in Congress and the White House to fight against business as usual. He is an outspoken voice for our movement and we are grateful for his service.”

SCF invested $835,495 supporting Ted Cruz in this race. It bundled $515,749 directly for the Cruz campaign and spent $319,746 on independent expenditures.
