State of the Union

Thursday, February 6, 2020

President Trump outlined the positive direction the country is headed in during his State of the Union speech.

In the past three years, we have seen strong economic growth, record-low unemployment, rising wages, and a soaring stock market.

It’s a result of President Trump’s leadership and his determination to keep his promises even in the face of unrelenting political attacks.

Sadly, we saw House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) tear up the President’s official remarks in another disappointing act of pettiness.

Likewise, Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) voted to remove President Trump from office, giving the Democrats the single Republican vote they needed to call their sham impeachment “bipartisan.”

Should Senator Mitt Romney face a conservative challenger in his next election?
Senator Romney’s vote for President Trump’s removal is another example of why we believe it’s important to elect conservatives who will support and defend the Constitution.
